Brother Ritchie came to Grace Baptist Church during a time of great need. In the midst of a seven month delay with the EPA, our former contractor had to back out and could not complete the project. Of course, the Lord knew what He was doing and allowed our paths to cross. The Ritchies were with us for fifteen months and took our project from the building footprints to near completion. The expertise of decades in commercial construction allowed Jim to help us save tens of thousands of dollars while his years in fundamental Baptist churches enabled him to know what we needed and how to make it happen. Mrs. Ritchie was a great blessing in the accounting end of the project and worked well with our financial secretary. Together, they made a great team. Personally, the Ritchies have become dear friends of ours and we thank God for allowing our lives and ministries to intersect.
He presented his ministry and desire to help us as our Project Manager and, needless to say, we were impressed with his firm understanding of the building industry. Our attorney looked at the sample contracts he wrote and said, "I could not have written them any better myself!" Jim did a fantastic job here at First Bible Baptist Church. He displayed nothing less than the finest Christian character as a Christian man, husband, father, and Project Manager while working hand in hand with us every day for almost one year.
